Sian Tiffany Scheepers graduated from Wits University in 2013 with honours in BSC Physiotherapy.
Since early in her career she displayed an immense passion for health care, volunteering her time working at many sporting events such as the Ride for Sight, Step up Step out, 94.7, UJ Athletic,Lions junior Rugby team since her second year till 2014. Sian Scheepers completed her community year at Stretford Clinic within the JHB Metro district participating in Public healthcare and promotion, outreach programmes and home visits. She then moved to one of the most recent healthcare establishments in the district of Soweto, Bheki Mlangeni District Hospital, here Sian Scheepers established and head the Physiotherapy department from 2015 to 2016. During her postgraduate years she worked in the private sector mainly in ICU, Paediatric, Sports, Orthopaedic and Outpatient Departments, attended dry needling, paediatric and adult neurology, kinesiotape and theraband, laser, chronic pain, seating courses.
In 2016 Sian Scheepers graduated with her Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management/Administration from the Wits Business School. Currently she is in the process of completing her Psychology degree and will be completing her Postgraduate Diploma in Orthopedic Manipulation Therapy in 2019.
Sian Scheeepers Physiotherapy has 3 outpatient branches, based in Salt Rock, Umdloti and Glenwood and provides in hospital services to surrounding hospitals.
Amanda has extensive experience in dealing with medical aid claims and is able to assist in all your administrative issues.
Zinhle Mkhize obtained my BSc Physiotherapy at The University of Cape Town in December 2017. When volunteering she provided therapy to athletes and cyclists in the annual 2 Oceans Marathon and Cape Argus Cycle Tours. In 2014 Zinhle Mkhize become a Co Founder of The Youth Academic Group in Khayelitsha (a township in Cape Town) which focused on grooming children (aged 3-18) in sports (soccer particularly), arts and academics.
Zinhle Mkhize did community service in December 2018, at a Community Healthcare Centre called Hlengisizwe, a rural placement where she was the only physiotherapist servicing the CHC and 6 satellite clinics. She was also part of the CHC’s netball team.
During The course of the year (20/11/2018) Zinhle Mkhize had an opportunity to work with the KZN MEC of Health Dr S. Dlomo when he was visiting homes around Msunduzi Clinic (one of our satellite clinics).
In September 2018 Zinhle Mkhize volunteered as a physiotherapist for Swelihle Senior Citizens Club in my community in Pietermaritzburg.
Zinhle Mkhize is currently working at Sian Scheepers Physiotherapy based in Glenwood High School. Zinhle Mkhize has completed a dry needling course, her special interests are sports and women’s health.
Zinhle Nomfundo is a medical clerk with 3 years experience working in a medical practice. Zinhle Nomfundo is reliable, self motivated and able to handle multiple tasks on a daily basis. Zinhle Nomfundo is a dependable person who has great time management and always eager to learn new things, she also have extensive experience in dealing with medical aid claims and able to assist in all your administrative issues. Zinhle Nomfundo obtained my N6 Public Management certificate at Berea technical college in June 2016.
